Uganda offers two mountain Gorilla Trekking Destinations that are protecting half of the total world population of mountain gorilla species. Uganda’s, mountain gorilla experience can be encountered in two different protected areas which are famously known for conserving half of the world’s total population surviving in the world. Uganda’s prominent places to see mountain gorillas include Mgahinga Gorilla National park and Bwindi impenetrable forest national park, these two national parks are located near each other.
Mgahinga gorilla national park is situated just near the border of Uganda and Rwanda. Bwindi impenetrable forest and Mgahinga are all located in the southwestern corner of Uganda.
